People who suffer from depression..?

I was wondering if you have more energy do you feel better or more happier? I have been diagnosed with depression for 2 1/2 years.. and I know for me has to do with seasonal depression also because less stress from school.. but like I have had more energy lately from exercising and I don't feel depressed.. anyone else there like me? Thanks!
Answer:
I feel better when I eat right, exercise and take vitamins. And if I ever eat junk food, I feel really bad, so I don't anymore.

Exercise releases certain chemicals in your brain and oxygen, so that's a good thing
if you are feeling energetic and happier then you do not have depression.
Yeah its totally natural. Depression is on both sides of my family.

Exercising produces happy hormones and rejuvenate your body =]

For me, besides exercising, skateboarding makes me extremely happy.

P.S. DO NOT LISTEN TO LIBBY! She doesn't know what she's talking about.
You must be O positive. There is a theory that blood type, diet and exercises are related if you are O positive I can explain more.
I have had depression for about 15 years. These last 4 years I have maintained my depression with meds on a daily bases. I don't have much energy, I feel better but I am always exsausted. Maybe I should exercise?
There was an article last year in a medical journal that studied exercise vs. medication %26 depression. It found that 30 mins of exercise daily has the same reported effects as taking 20 mg of Prozac daily. I tried it %26 believe it. I'm off meds totally for the first time in 10 years.
i have been suffering from depression for about 6 months. things have not been going well, so i have been having the hardest time of my depression yet. school is out soon, and i am hoping that will help a lot. i wish more people really understood depression and that smiling doesn't mean that you aren't depressed anymore. its nice to know other people are happier. it gives me some hope, yet makes me angry knowing that they are happy and i am not. i hope things get better over the summer. warm weather is always nicer. thank you for the nice question. it helped my day a little. : )
Exercise is good because it releases endorphins into your system and they lift your mood. Meds alone won't make you happy. They will lift you out of the pit of dispair but meds and exercise can actually elevate your mood enough to make you happy. I try to workout 3-4 days a week - lifting weights and doing cardio. Sometimes I have to force myself to go to the gym but I'm always glad after I get back home because it makes me feel good about myself and lifts my mood.
ummm... it could be alot of things... you could acctually be coming out of the depression and back to being happy again and it could also be a diffrent type of depression because derpession can do many many things to your body and mind...
